Hurricane Impact Windows
Protect Your Biggest Investment, Your Home.
Hurricane impact windows offer a number of benefits to keep your home safe:
Impact glass: Protects your home from strong storm winds and flying debris, keeping air pressure out and your home safe. In a hurricane, wind typically causes the most damage. If wind gets into your home through a compromised window the pressure change can blow off your roof, collapse walls and lead to total home destruction.
Hassle-Free Protection: With Hurricane impact windows you will always be protected. Say goodbye to the hassle of boarding up your windows or putting on hurricane shutters. Your home will have built-in protection that lasts so you don’t have to stress every time we get a hurricane warning.
Safety Glass: Shattered glass is typically very sharp and can cause a lot of injuries if it is airborne due to storm winds and can even cause injury when simply trying to clean it up. Designed with a film between the layers of glass, safety glass won’t shatter. This allows the window to remain intact avoiding shattered glass all over your home.
Security: Impact glass will prevent a burglar from breaking a window to get into your home. With a much stronger window it will be tough to break and even if they do have a tool strong enough to alter the state of the glass, it won’t shatter open to allow access to your home.
Sound: Impact windows are made with extra thick layers of glass and are sealed to prevent air and sound leakage. This keeps exterior noise outside of your home so you can enjoy the peace and quiet of your home without disturbance from noisy neighbors or busy roads nearby.
UV Protection: Impact windows have built-in UV protection. This helps protect your home from long-term UV light damage that can fade furniture, family photographs, and even the paint inside your home.
Insurance Breaks: When upgrading to windows that are built to protect your home, some insurance companies recognize the benefits and pass them along to you by reducing insurance premiums for your home.
Energy Savings: Built with a tighter seal and energy star-rated LoE3 glass coating, our impact windows are designed to reduce the solar heat gain in Florida’s hot summer months while keeping the heat in for colder winter evenings.
Sea Storm Glass
Sea-Storm Glass is used for all of our hurricane impact windows and is produced by Cardinal Glass Industries. This glass is specifically designed for coastal regions and offers great protection to Florida Homeowners. The coast of Tampa Bay and surrounding areas can experience winds as fast as 130 miles per hour. Sea-Storm acts as your shield of protection for all Florida storms.
Sea-Storm glass is made with a safety glazing process to create laminated glass. It consists of two sheets of tempered glass with a sturdy interlayer. Applying heat and pressure to the layers creates an inseparable bond. This glass has been tested extensively to resist both blunt force and puncture impacts. Under the strain of an intense impact, the glass may crack but broken glass fragments will remain adhered to the plastic interlay to preserve the stability of your home during a storm. Sea-Strom laminated glass is specially designed to withhold multiple impacts and protect your home’s structural integrity through every storm.

You can buy the best windows on the market and they won’t provide any protection unless it is installed the right way. For every step of the installation process, it’s crucial that the installers are trained to follow exact product installation specifications.
