How the Program Works

To begin your participation in the program, apply today on the My Safe Florida Home site (Click Here) and schedule a Complete Home Hurricane Inspection at no cost to you.

A licensed inspector will conduct a detailed evaluation of your home’s ability to withstand a hurricane and offer you a report with recommendations for improving its safety rating.

Following your complimentary inspection you’ll receive follow up via email from the My Safe Florida Home program with the option to apply for up to $10,000 of grant money to improve your home. This money can be used to help pay for any recommended home upgrades from licensed and qualified My Safe Florida Home Program contractors.
